Flash Player help -- Installing Adobe Flash Player

You may want to print these suggestions.

If you are a Microsoft Windows PC user, some of the pages in this website may want you to download and install the Adobe Flash Player, a free download from http://www.adobe.com/. With the Player installed, you will be able to access some of the richer content on the site. If you use a Mac you probably already have the Player installed. If you use another operating system, such as Linux, then it is up to you to sort the Player installation out; if you can run Linux then you must be able to do it without my help!
These are not the official installation instructions (these can be found at the Adobe site), they are simply what I do. I do not make any guarantee on suitability for any other system - you follow these instructions at your own risk.
Firstly, if the pop-up appears asking you to download and install the Flash Player and you have just installed anything or accepted any updates or similar, cancel the installation and reboot your system.
Make sure that you only have one instance of Internet Explorer running - and only one tab (the one that you are on) open.
Go to the Adobe site and click on "Get Adobe Flash Player."
Follow the instructions, some of which take some time to complete - don't hurry this stage! It will tell you what to do each time it finishes a step.
Normally, you know that you have installed the Player properly when the previously static image at the top of the Adobe web page becomes animated.
Enjoy using AdobeFlash Player.
