During December 2009 we performed at the Argyle Works, Great Barr Street, Birmingham B9 4EX in Birmingham Opera Company's performance of Verdi's Othello. We danced in the foyer at the start of the performance to welcome the audience and then later in the ballet section in the third act. More -->

FAQs. We are recruiting! The club was formed in Erdington over 50 years ago and, although most of the original members lived in the north east of Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield and Lichfield areas, some current members travel from much further afield. As part of our campaign to recruit new members we have written to several local schools offering to dance at a school fund-raising event in exchange for two or three members of staff or parents volunteering to join us to perform a couple of dances.

Green Man was directly involved in the revival of the Lichfield dances and was appointed "Custodians of the Lichfield Tradition" by The Morris Ring of England. We lead the Lichfield "Bower" Procession every May. Read more -->

ABOUT MORRIS DANCING - the short version!
